New non-emergency police number.
Wiltshire Police today launch a new telephone system.
This new number replaces all previous public police station numbers. If you dial an old number you will receive a recorded message directing you to the new service. Calls to the new number will be charged at a local rate and will be answered at Police HQ in Devizes.
More information can be found at Wiltshire Police
It is important to remember that 0845 408 7000 is for non-emergency use only; examples being general enquiries, requests for advice and information or reporting non-urgent incidents or crimes.
In an EMERGENCY you must still DIAL 999.
