I received the decision at 4.00pm on Christmas Eve!!

To cut a long story short, the Inspector has allowed the appeal.

It has many caveats and, as I read it, doesn't set a precedent for the rest of the land south of Devizes/Trowbridge Road. In addition, the new local plan will have full weight from 20th January but, when the appeal was heard, it had only limited weight as the Inspector had not submitted the result of the plan's Inspection in Public.
