Green bin farce.
When is a consultation a waste?
When it's organised by the Conservatives at County Hall.
Having asked us our opinion on the future of the 'green bins' (the result was a massive vote to suspend the service over winter) the Conservatives have now announced that they intend to charge £40 a year (per bin) becasue 'they have to'.
They could have had the guts to announce this a few months ago and save the farce (and cost) of yet another of their infamous 'consultation' exercises.
I wonder what result will come out of the parking review??!!
