There was an unpleasant surprise at a WC meeting!
WC has commenced an informal consultation on the methodology and initial findings relating to the identification of new housing allocations.
It runs until 5.00pm on Tuesday 31st March and the various documents can be accessed by clicking on http://www.wiltshire.gov.uk/planninganddevelopment/planningpolicy/wiltshsgsiteallocationsplansites.htm ALL the land on the Trowbridge side of the HRR is shown as having 'passed' the first sift of sites and, interestingly, it includes WC owned land. A coincidence? It seems odd that of all the land around Hilperton shown in the Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment (SHLAA) document, only the part including WC land seems suitable.
Please look at the document and make your feelings known to the WC spatial planning team.
