Well done Hilperton.
The bells of St. Michael's rang out on Saturday.
St. Michael and All Angels in The Knapp, hosted the annual Devizes Guild striking (bell ringing) competition on Saturday afternoon.
The tower hadn't taken part in the contest for about five years but decided, as it was hosting the competition, that it should field a team.
Amongst the six ringers was a 'novice' who had only started ringing a few months ago in response to the flyers distributed around the parish.
The team did very well finishing an impressive fifth out of nine teams.
New ringers are always welcome and practice is on a Tuesday evening from 7.30.
