Will you be about next Thursday?
It's general Election day...
The latest dates to register to vote or ask for a postal vote have passed.
However, if you won't be here to vote in person, you have until 5.00pm on 28th April to apply for a proxy vote. Obviously, this will now mean delivering your proxy request by hand to County Hall.
There are a few restrictions on who you can appoint as a proxy but, basically, if they live near you and are on the electoral register then they should be ok!!
