A little more progress has been made.

The opening date I have been given is still late August - over a year from when work started.

The 'good' news though, is that the road is being built at no cost to the residents of Wiltshire - apart from opening the land to possible future housing that is.

Surfacing of the cycleway/footpath has started and, as at this evening, goes from the Fieldways roundabout as far as Middle Lane.  Hopefully, it will not need to be dug up almost as soon as it's laid.
