20 mph speed limit/zone enforcement
The Government and the National Police Chief’s Council (NPCC – and previously called ACPO) have agreed that 20 MPH limits and zones can now be enforced by way of fixed penalty notice using the code RR84210.
The NPCC threshold for enforcement remains the same as all other speed limits.
Discretion of enforcement, as always, remains with the officer dealing with the offence.
