HRR speed limit call-in result.
Not good news....
The WC Overview & Scrutiny Committee met yesterday afternoon.
Sorry to say that the decision for a 50mph limit on HRR will NOT be referred back to the Cabinet member. The Overview & Scrutiny Committee at WC decided that myself and councillor Oldrieve had not made a good enough case that the correct procedures had not been followed in reaching the decision.
On the plus side however, a length of Soprano Way has been reduced from 50mph to 30mph. Not good news for Hilperton residents but good news for those who live near the new school.
It is a frustrating outcome but, as I said on my web site, it was rather like clutching at straws as very few call-ins are made and hardly any of them succeed!!
