Wednesday September 30, 2015 The new weight limit Order has been sealed.

It will be implemented on the 5th October.

So,  is this the date when the HRR will open?  Legally, it would seem a tad tricky if it doesn't...

I can email a copy of the order to anyone who would like it but the gist is that the current B3105 will be down graded to become the C504 and will have a 7.5 tonne weight limit on it.  All other residential roads in Hilperton will also be covered by the order.  The short stretch of road between Wyke Road and Wickes will have the existing weight limit revoked.

Therefore, the only legal route for vehicles over 7.5 tonnes through Hilperton (emergencies and deliveries excepted) will be by using the HRR which will be classified as the B3105.

Perhaps the 'get out clause' is that the current B3105 will not be down graded until the new road opens and so the new Order will cite the incorrect road numbers?

Still, we will find out on Monday.  If the Heras fencing has gone from the ends of the HRR I guess it will be open for use!  Only about three months later than originally planned...
