Butchery on an industrial scale.
Thanks to all who have contacted me about the shocking 'work' to trees on Paxcroft Mead.
The decision to undertake this work was made without any consultation with the three local councillors – we were simply told what was going to happen.
The work was referenced in my recent Update newsletter which should have been delivered to all homes in Hilperton Division, or there is an electronic copy on this web site. In fact, the link should be to the left of this paragraph as you read it - the article is on page 4.
Whilst I can understand why the work is needed close to houses, garages etc. I fail to see why the same treatment has to be meted out along cycle paths and elsewhere.
