The 'official' closing date for comments on application 16/00672 is this Friday.

Whilst I am sure that everyone has their own resons for objecting to this application, may I ask one thing if you haven't commented yet?

Just about the only reason this application might be permitted is due to a possible lack of a five year land supply in the north and west Wiltshire housing market area.  The National Planning Policy Framework states that in such cases permission should be granted UNLESS ANY ADVERSE IMPACTS OF DOING SO WOULD SIGNIFICANTLY AND DEMONSTRABLY OUTWEIGH THE BENEFITS.

I would therefore urge anyone to particularly focus on the balance of adverse impact v. benefit.  There seem to be many of the former and few of the later!
