WC loses yet another planning appeal.
Planning appeal APP/Y3940/W/15/3141340 - Land north of Holt Road & Cemetery Lane Bradford on Avon BA15 1TR - allowed 24 March 2016 (Wiltshire Council reference 14/07689/OUT - refused 23 September 2015).

The Wiltshire Core Strategy is surely not worth the paper it is written on.
When are the spatial planning officers at County Hall going to sort out the deplorable arithmetic of the latest Wiltshire five year housing land supply statements? in particular to put in full and proper figures for the large windfall sites allowances, currently far and away the main source of supply, (at least in West Wiltshire) but shown in the calculations at absurdly low figures.
It is a disgrace for the Spatial Planners and Appeals Case Officers to time after time tell Planning Inspectors that they cannot demonstrate a five year housing land supply without re-doing the arithmetic and telling Inspectors what they can demonstrate.
Is there no-one at County Hall (officer, Cabinet member or even the Leader herself) capable of addressing any of this?
