Commonsense prevails at WWDC Cabinet meeting.
PFI decision referred to full council meeting.
When the agenda for the meeting was produced, it seemed that the Cabinet was prepared to trundle along the road of self-destruction and ignore the findings of the Scrutiny Committee.
Last night, however, common sense was seized upon and the matter of building on WWDC owned land was deferred for the full council to consider.
It was a victory for democracy and, I'm sure, had nothing to do with the fact that there were sufficient councillors willing to bring about a vote of 'no confidence' in Cllr. Content had any other course been taken.
