My May e-newsletter.
The WC planning officer looking after the application for housing in the Hilperton Gap has confirmed that she has agreed an extension of time with the Agent to 6th May 2015 to allow them to submit additional information. Once this information has been received a further 21 day consultation period will be carried out so that those who want to can comment on the additional information. She is not aware of when the information will be received so an additional extension of time on this application may be agreed at a later date.
I understand that noise is one of the issues which WC needs more information on and this could tie-in nicely with the issues that some residents already have with the new HRR.
With this time scale, I would be surprised if the application goes to the WC Spatial Planning Committee before September but, of course, it could be sooner than that.
The Neighbourhood Plan process continues. It is the intention of the steering committee to get a questionnaire to all the houses in the parish within the next month or so. When it drops through your door please do respond (on-line if possible). Without your feedback the process cannot continue. Also, should you wish to get involved, please let me know and I will pass your details to the NP team.
WC held a consultation on where Community Infrastructure Levy money should be spent. It looks an odd list to me as the Trowbridge area is expected to bear the brunt of the extra housing allocation, but most of the CIL money might end up being spent in the Chippenham area!
