Although this meeting is open to the public, there won't be a public forum. The theory behind this is the fact that the PCT has run their own 'consultation' events. Even Town and Parish councillors will be expected to sit in silence!! Democracy in action (not).

The evening has been carefully choreographed with the PCT chief exec. (Carol Clarke) speaking for 15 minutes at the start of the meeting. She will then be followed by other luminaries.

WWDC councillors will be allowed to ask questions at 8.10, but the PCT have asked for these in advance so that they can be properly answered !! Just a hint of 'spin' one presumes.

One word of warning - it would seem that some members of the PCT board can be upset and brought close to tears if people raise their voices - so let's be careful on Thursday evening. We don't want to upset anyone by letting them know how people really feel about the PCT members, do we?
