The new road is finally open.

It was opened this afternoon without, I think, any ceremony.

As you might have noticed, the crash barriers by the balancing ponds on Elizabeth Way were uprated recently for the expected increase in traffic volume.

When thing have settled down, a Metro count will be requested to ascertain traffic volume and speeds.
