WWDC planning committee decisions.
Decisions were reached on both Paxcroft Ward items last week.
The application for more 'domestic storage' in ex chicken houses along Whaddon Lane was approved, but with a condition that the applicant has to make a contribution towards highway costs.
The other item, for a 'change of use' from domestic storage to fitness gym in an existing set of units, was approved on the chairman's casting vote. I argued that the application should be refused as it is a totally unsuitable site, and the planning inspector allowed the original development on appeal specifically for 'domestic storage' use. No wonder people feel that the planning system is a joke!
