What is your opinion of the HRR and the roundabouts?
As Elizabeth Way is not adopted, the maintenance responsibility rests with Persimmon.
I am told by WC that they have already contacted Persimmon regarding the condition of the Wyke Road and Fieldways roundabouts and have confirmation that they have issued an appropriate instruction to their landscape contractor and WC anticipates the work being done 'in the very near future'.
However, the fact remains that the roundabouts should never have been allowed to get to the state they currently are.
As a protest, a local resident has organised for the Wiltshire Times to send a reporter and photographer to the Wyke Road roundabout at 11.30 tomorrow (Friday). If you would like to show your dis-satisfaction with Persimmon (after all, they only make £millions profit a year) please do come along.
