Our Primary Care Trust in action !
How the Primary Care Trust can be trusted with our money.
"In July last year Wiltshire health chiefs celebrated the opening of a £9 million PFI redevlopment of Savernake Hospital.
Twelve months, and a £20 million overspend, on we had the "Pathways for Change" consultation. All options want to close Trowbridge Hospital, but Option 1 also proposes the closure of .... Savernake Hospital.
The PCT is signed up to lease the building back from Chiltern Securities for 30 years. Thus, if Savernake is closed, the PCT will have about 29 years of the lease agreement remaining on a closed building."
It's probably just as well that the people that manage (sic) the PCT don't actually have to answer to the public for their actions !!
