Semington is due to go to the twin bin waste system.
The final stage of rolling out full kerbside recycling collections in West Wiltshire will be launched in Bulkington, Keevil, Great Hinton, Wingfield and some parts of Semington in September. This will complete the roll-out of green bins and black boxes across the District.

The green bins can be used to recycle anything compostable, such as garden waste (grass cuttings, leaves, weeds, cut flowers etc), certain types of cardboard and some kitchen waste, including tea bags, coffee grounds and vegetable peelings.

Items such as newspapers and magazines, cans, glass bottles and jars, aluminium foil and textiles can be recycled in the black boxes.

Plastics cannot be recycled at the kerbside but can be taken to the household waste recycling centres and some smaller recycling sites - contact the Council on 01225 770385 or visit the recycling web site for further details.
