Housing Survey has started.
Housing Survey has started.
Survey forms will be sent to 11,000 households in West Wiltshire so there is roughly a one in three chance of getting one. The purpose of the survey is to see what the state of the housing market is within the district so the council knows what is needed in the way of new housing for sale and rent.
It's not just aimed at those in housing need but at all households.
The results will be available in four months time.
If you need any more information about any aspect of the survey please call the Housing Enabling Team on 01225 770359.
One interesting point is "As WWDC feels that this survey is required now, how old (and accurate) is the data that is being used to justify the Private Finance Initiative for affordable housing?"
