CCTV footage has been made available.
Wiltshire Police has today released CCTV to trace four people they would like to speak to in connection with the murder of Jordan Taylor, aged 25, from Hilperton.
Detectives would like to eliminate the four people from their enquiries as they were in the vicinity within minutes of the incident when Jordan was stabbed.
Deputy Senior Investigating Officer Jim Taylor, who is a Detective Inspector in the Brunel Major Incidents Crime Team said: "It is my job to ensure that we identify these people as part of the investigation.
"We have forensic evidence which can eliminate these people from our enquiries so we would urgently like to hear from them or anyone who may recognise these individuals from the CCTV.
"It is likely that some of the four were just walking home from a night out but they all pass closely to the incident and they may hold the key to solving this murder investigation. It is imperative that we talk to them and they help us.
"In particular, we have already released a description of the white man in the green Parka coat. We are certain that someone knows who this man is and that he might be from the local area.
"If you think you know any of the people in the CCTV I would urge you to get in touch with us as soon as possible.
"Also, we are interested in speaking to anyone who matches the descriptions given and who may own a Star Wars logo'd bag.
"We continue to have increased foot patrols in the town and are still doing house to house enquiries. The local community have been really helpful and we think that they may be able to help us in this matter too."
The four individuals detectives would like speak to are as below (this matches the order on Dropbox):
1. Man dressed smartly in dark clothing and carrying an umbrella, seen walking from Union Street on to a pathway heading towards Charlotte Street between 1.25am - 1.35am.
