How serious is the threat to the Gap? 'Very'.
We should find out today.
The Development Plan Document due to be published by WC has been pushed back apparently due to the General Election!
It is now scheduled to be considered by the WC cabinet on 20th June. The agenda will be published on the 13th June.
Call me paranoid but the question must be 'Why?' The answer is surely be that the Tories at County Hall know that the DPD will be a shocking piece of work capable of effecting how people will vote in the General Election. It is certainly my thinking on a local level as to why publication was delayed time and time again until after the WC election, and now the General Election, in a weeks time.
I hope that I am wrong and that I will need to eat a slice of humble pie...
