There has been a slight 'stay of execution' if you are considering applying for Village Green status for any land around Hilperton.
The Wiltshire Council Development Plan Document will not now come into the public domain until Monday 12th June.
This document will be a 'trigger event' which will stop any VG applications on land allocated in the DPD for housing etc.
If you are working towards a VG application please ensure that it is lodged with WC, and acknowledged by them, by Friday 9th June latest. The application does not have to be perfect and fully formed but it does need to be formally lodged.
BTW, a section of the Gap is owned by WC but this does not prevent an application being made for the area. WC has to register the application and actually assist the applicant through the process too.
