The would-be developers are not happy......

It would seem that Charlcombe Homes Ltd. has deep pockets.

I have been copied-in to an email which states "(we) recently lost an appeal for residential development on land at The Grange, Hilperton, on the grounds that the proposal would cause less than substantial harm to the setting of the Conservation Area. This is now the subject of a High Court challenge."

Presumably, Charlcombe Homes is claiming that the Planning Inspector mis-directed himself.  It will be interesting to see the outcome of this as the 'setting' reason was raised by residents, myself and the parish council but, for some reason, WC didn't seem over bothered by it.
