Vehicles and caravans parked.
Thanks to those who have contacted me about the parked vehicles and caravans on the verge.
WC rights-of-way department is aware in case the footpath is obstructed.
WC highways department is aware of the visitors too. However, as the road is unadopted, removal of the vehicles etc. is the responsibility of the landowner - Persimmon. I have asked WC to contact Persimmon to set the necessary legal wheels in motion.
UPDATE 11.10am. I have received the following email from WC highways:-
"I have just spoken to our enforcement officer who has confirmed that Persimmon has already been contacted numerous times about the travellers. I also believe that our planning department has also contacted them to put more pressure on them as their planning permission does not cover this use on their land. Hopefully Persimmon will be proactive."
