Regulation 16 consultation.
Wiltshire Council has confirmed that it intends to start the consultation on Friday 15th December.
The usual six week consultation period will be extended to seven weeks to allow for the Christmas/New Year break.
In terms of deposit point locations, WC is of the opinion that County Hall, Trowbridge Library, Marsh Road Post Office, The Lion & Fiddle, and Hilperton Primary School provide a good cross section to enable people to view the documents.
WC will send the hard copy packs out today (or hand deliver them) to ensure they arrive on time.
An electronic version will be available.
The end of the process draws ever closer. 'Per ardua ad astra' as some might say!!
Compared to the timescale which other parishes have taken (normally anything between five and eight years) the Hilperton steering group (and its consultant) has done a magnificent job in a couple of years. The first meeting (to find out whether there was any enthusiasm to create a Plan) was only on 26th November 2015.
