New secondary school consultations.
The (far) east of Trowbridge secondary school.
WCC is now giving people in Melksham the opportunity to comment on the plans. A series of three exhibitions is being held at: George Ward School on November 27 between 3pm and 8pm. Bowerhill village hall on November 29 between 3pm and 8pm. Melksham Town Hall on December 4 between 3.30pm and 8pm.
The new school will replace George Ward School and is set to be built on the Woolmore Farm site in East Melksham at a cost of apprx £22m.
I have contacted WCC to remind them that this school is also of interest to the people of Hilperton, Holt, Semington and Staverton and that they should be included in this process.
