Wiltshire Council Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT ACT 2004.

THE COUNTY OF WILTSHIRE (PARISHES OF WEST WILTSHIRE) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING, TAXI RANK CLEARWAYS AND ON STREET PARKING) CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2016 (AMENDMENT NO.2) ORDER 2018.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT Wiltshire Council proposes to make the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 to amend the following restrictions in the Parishes of West Wiltshire Consolidation Order 2016 by revoking Map Schedule Nos. EO30, EP29, EP30 and EQ30 dated 29th July 2016 and replacing them by the insertion of revised Map Schedule Nos. EO30, EP29, EP30 and EQ30 the effect of which will be as follows:

a) To remove No Waiting at any time on the following lengths of road:

Church Street – east side – from a point 59 metres south of its junction with St Michaels Close to a point 61 metres south of that junction

Church Street – east side – from a point 56 metres north of its junction with St Michaels Close to a point 86 metres north of that junction

Church Street – west side – from a point 18 metres north of its junction with St Michaels Close to a point 28 metres north of that junction

Church Street – north west side – from a point 74 metres north east of its junction with The Knap to a point 88 metres north east of that junction

 

b) To introduce No Waiting at any time on the following lengths of roads:

Church Street – east side - from a point 22 metres south of its junction with St Michaels Close to a point 23 metres south of that junction

Devizes Road – south side – from its junction with Church Street to a point 32 metres east of that junction

Devizes Road – north side – from a point 9 metres east of its junction with Church Street to a point 33 metres east of that junction

Trowbridge Road – south side – from its junction with Church Street to a point 43 metres south west of that junction

Deposit copies of the Order, plans and Statement of the Council’s Reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge during normal office hours.

Details of the proposed scheme may be seen at Trowbridge Library, Ground Floor, County Hall, Trowbridge during the hours of 8.30am to 7pm Monday, Thursday and Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm Tuesday and Wednesday and 9am to 5pm Saturday until 16th April 2018.
