Lib Dem resignation surprise.
A leading WWDC Lib Dem has resigned from the group.
An e-mail was sent out to WWDC members yesterday advising us of the news but, interestingly, an attached letter from the Leader of the council to Terry, accepting his resignation, is dated the 21st November 2006. I wonder why it took over a week for WWDC to pass this information to other councillors?
Regretably, the letter doesn't shed any light as to why Cllr. Chivers has taken this step.
Terry remains a member of the council, as an Independent.
