I have received the following email from a WC enforcement officer.
It relates to trees along Elizabeth Way which have 'failed'/died' since being planted when the road opened, and which I reported to WC recently.
'Dear Cllr Clark,
Regarding the replacement planting.
The landscaper has visited the site and confirmed the following trees need replacing. 2 Acer Campestre, 2 Fagus Sylvatica, 3 Quercus Robur, 1 Salix Fragilis.
The locations are as following - 2 are next to bottom roundabout (Horse Road end), 1 on the left opposite the ponds, 2 on the right amongst the hedging and 3 near the top roundabout (Fieldways end).
Planting season is between Nov and Feb and will be completed during this period.
I will leave the file open until completed.'
