Polling is open 7.00am to 10.00pm
This is a reminder, to those of you that are Hilperton parish residents, that the referendum on the Hilperton Neighbourhood Development Plan is today.
Please get to your polling station and vote YES.
The plan aims to help protect Hilperton from inappropriately located speculative developments; it is not ‘anti building’ – it simply wants to give residents more control over where new building will take place.
You should have received your polling card from Wiltshire Council, informing you about the vote and where your polling station is, a couple of weeks ago. If you have lost it, it doesn’t matter; you do NOT need it to be able to vote.
Your polling station will be your ‘usual’ place (Tin Church or the village hall).
If you have a postal vote, which you have not yet returned, you can take the sealed envelope to either polling station between 7.00am and 10.00pm.
Please vote YES and encourage your friends and neighbours to do likewise.
