The next meeting is on Monday.
Below is taken from the WC paper for the next meeting of the Electoral Review Committee.
I am presuming that ‘Hilperton’ will be the division name!!
The parish council supports the proposed composition of the division and 'Hilperton' as its name. The proposal is for the division to be exactly the same as the parish with nothing extra added. As now, I think we would be just about the only division comprising of exactly one parish.
Hilperton
The Commission accepted the Council’s proposal without variation. As a division composed of a single, highly distinct parish, the proposal makes for an excellent division across all the statutory criteria. The Council therefore makes no objection to this proposed division. The Council supports the name [insert name here] for this division.
