New phone mast for the Hilperton / Paxcroft Mead area?
Planning permission is not required for this development, but the company does have to go through a consultation period.

T-mobile state that they have looked at other locations in the area and this one best suits their requirements. It would give coverage to Paxcroft Mead and Hilperton residents as well as to drivers on the A361.

To date their 'consultation' consists of informing local planners and councillors, but they're not proposing anything more substantial as they don't consider the site to be too controversial. A site notice was put up on January 16th but has so far not generated any responses - what a surprise. How many people stop to read notices stuck on lamp posts etc?

If you live in the area and would like to object to the proposal please contact me straight away. All concerns then be raised with the company.

In addition, Hilperton Parish Council considered this matter at their February meeting, and have objected to the chosen location.
