WWDC has contacted T Mobile's agent.
I spoke to a Principal Planning Officer at WWDC today and was told that WWDC will be telling T Mobile that this is "an inappropriate site and that they should look to alternatives".

However, we have only gone through the 'pre-application consultation' process and so, if they wish, T Mobile could still say that they want the telecomm mast at their preferred location.

In my opinion this would be fool hardy (to say the least) but the ball is now in their court.
