New housing in Hilperton?
Looking ahead, one wonders what land will see planning applications in the coming year.
The planning permission at Church Farm, Church Street lapsed some time ago. However, it is surely inconceivable that it will remain as an eye sore for much longer. Whilst it is not an easy site to develop, the potential is certainly there.
The land on the Trowbridge side of Elizabeth Way (which the town council is again attempting to snatch) was 'allocated' for housing in the Wiltshire Council HSAP a while back. The Inspector seems to agree with WC. How long, therefore, before one of the big developers applies for outline permission somewhere along there? March? April? Will HGTllp modify their existing plan for some of the land?
It could prove to be an interesting year for Hilperton.....
