Both Paxcroft items had decisions made on them last night.
Hilperton (Paxcroft Mead) - The application to change one of the new retail units at the local centre from 'retail' to 'take away hot food' was refused. The committee agreed with my thought that another 'take away' would cause an imbalance in the type of shops there.

Staverton - the chamge of use for Smallbrook House to an 'house in multiple occupation' was approved, but with a condition limiting numbers to 14 persons.

Although not in Paxcroft or Holt Wards you may have noticed that Trowbridge Tesco have put up a huge number of new signs. These were all erected without planning permission.

The committee has asked planning officers to negotiate with Tesco to get some of them removed, so a more sensible retrospective application can be made.
