I have received the following from an highways engineer.

'I sent out an email to the emergency services etc to gather their views regarding Devizes Road Hilperton.

I received a response from Passenger Transport to say that buses were not affected and they have no concerns.

I also received a 'positive' response from the Police not objecting to the closure so long as a physical barrier would be in place.

I sent a further email a couple of weeks ago asking the other emergency services to let me have their views, as they did not respond to the original email. I have not had a response as yet and given the current demands on their time, I feel we are unlikely to receive anything now.'
