***No access to Salisbury Plain over Easter***
Keep your exercise local!!
The MoD/DIO advises that the Imber Ranges, which form a significant part of the Salisbury Plain Training Area will be closed to the public over the Easter period.
This area includes the village of Imber and the access roads to Imber from the public highways.
I know that there are people who want to visit Imber or drive, walk or ride on the range roads but all of these roads will be closed from their junctions with the public highway.
Please DO NOT attempt to visit the village of Imber, or try to walk, drive or ride on this area of Salisbury Plain during the Easter period.
In addition, the 'Imber bus day' planned for August has been cancelled for 2020.
