The NSPI took place earlier this week.
In a unique 'experiment' the inquiry was held on-line using Zoom.
A number of local people gave evidence both 'for' and 'against' the application.
Both sides now have a week or so for their barrister to submit a 'closing statement' to the inspector before he makes his 'recommendation' to Wiltshire Council.
I use the inverted commas as, legally, the inspector can only make a recommendation. However, if WC does not follow his finding the matter will surely go to judicial review (as another village green application elsewhere in Wiltshire did a few years ago).
A decision should be made before Christmas!!
