Police and councils to get £60m to help enforce new coronavirus regulations
The Government is to make £60 million available to help the police and councils enforce coronavirus laws, it is reported, with a government announcement on the funding boost expected.
It is understood £30 million will be split between police forces across England and Wales, while councils will receive the same amount to pay for COVID-19 marshals and other measures.
