New Cabinet appointed.
All major WWDC posts were confirmed last night.
Within the Cabinet the following appointments were made by the Leader:-
Community - Chris March
Economic Development - Michael Mounde
Environment - Linda Conley
Finance - Roy While
Housing - Virginia Fortescue
Leisure & Recreation - Richard Wiltshire
Planning - Tony Phillips
Policy & Communication- Andrew Davis
Various committee Chairman were also elected with most of them going to Conservative councillors. Two exceptions were on the Scrutiny Committee, which will be chaired by Jeff Osborn (LibDem) and the Planning Committee which will be chaired by myself.
