Monday March 29, 2021 Urgent closure of: B3106 Hammond Way (Part).

Between the King's Arms and the marina roundabout plus part of Marsh Road.

WILTSHIRE COUNCIL HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that on 30th March 2021, the following length of road shall be closed to all traffic in the interests of public safety to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out reactive patching.

Marsh Road (Part), Hilperton; from the property known as The Nursery for 630m in a Westerly direction. B3106 Hammond Way (Part), Hilperton; from it's junction with Marsh Road for 330m in a Southerly direction.

Alternative route: via Marsh Road B3105, Horse Road, Elizabeth Way, Hilperton Relief Road, A361, County Way, Bythesea Road, A363, St Margaret's Street, Town Bridge, Silver Street, B3107and vice versa.

Alternative route: via Marsh Road (B3105), Horse Road, Canal Road, Hammond Way (B3106) and vice versa.

The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

These works will commence on 30 March 2021 and are anticipated to be required for 2 days between the hours of 09:00 and 15:30. This Notice will have a maximum duration of 5 days.


I have quried why WC is still refering to Marsh Road as the B3105 when it was downgraded to the C504 some years ago.
