All candidates are now known.

The Wiltshire Council seat will be contested.  The parish council seats will not be.

For Wiltshire Council there are three candidates.  Myself (Independent), a Conservative, and a Green.

The parish council saw 13 nominations for the 13 seats available - accordingly, all 13 people are deemed to be elected.  This is the third or fourth time, I think, that the PC election has seen exactly the same number of nominations as there are seats available.

Compared to many parish councils, which cannot attract enough people to fill all their seats, I hope this is an indication that Hilperton parish councillors realise the difference they can make.
