If you aren’t already, the deadline to register to vote in the upcoming elections is today (Monday 19 April) at 11:59pm.
It literally only takes a few minutes to register to vote. You only need to register once - not for every election, so you may already be registered.
You’ll need to register again if you’ve changed your name, address or nationality.
There are two elections taking place in Hilperton on 6 May. They are for Wiltshire Council and the Wiltshire and Swindon Police and Crime Commissioner.
You must be aged 16 or over to register to vote (18 or over to vote)
You must also be one of the following:
• a British citizen
• an Irish or EU citizen living in the UK
• a Commonwealth citizen who has permission to enter or stay in the UK, or who does not need permission
• a citizen of another country living in Scotland or Wales who has permission to enter or stay in the UK, or who does not need permission.
