I have heard from a WC highways engineer.
"Good Morning,
"Further to my email, I am informed that the lengthy period of high temperatures has impacted upon the surface dressing programme and the date of the surfacing of HILP21, HILP22 and SEMI19A has now changed.
"The surface dressing will now take place from the 5th September. I will keep you informed if there are any further changes."
Obviously, there is no news as to when the pavement along Trowbridge Road will see any money spent it. This 'missing link' in the Trowbridge - Melksham pedestrian scheme is proberly not due to see any work as it is actually well used - unlike the 'by-way' vanity project.
