I have written to our MP re the government planning system.

The letter is below:-

 

Dear Ms. Donelan,

As the MP for Hilperton, could you tell me whether you support the ‘Tory rebels’ who are campaigning to remove the obligation for councils to take into account house-building targets when they consider planning applications.

Are top-down targets the correct way to run a planning system?

If you do not support this campaign, could you please explain why you don’t.
