It was twenty years ago today...
...that I was first elected as your councillor.
It seems more like yesterday!!
Thursday the 1st of May 2003 saw me standing for election for the first time. As now, I stood as an Independent - I have NEVER aligned myself to any political party.
I was successful in being elected to the old West Wiltshire District Council (WWDC) for Paxcroft Ward. Since then you have returned me to WWDC (2007), to Wiltshire County Council (2008), and to Wiltshire Council (2009, 2013, 2017, and 2021). I am very grateful for the faith that you have in me.
The next WC election will be in 2025 when, I hope, I will again stand to be your councillor.
