Temporary Closure of: Footpath 8 (Part), Hilperton (Ref: TTRO 8714)
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all users: Footpath 8 (Part), Hilperton; from its junction with Elizabeth Way to its junction with Footpath 54, Trowbridge.
To enable: development of 151 new homes and infrastructure works.
Alternative route: via Footpath 54, Trowbridge – Elizabeth Way – Footpath 8, Hilperton (unaffected length) and vice versa.
The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.
This Order will come into operation on 01 July 2023 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 01 January 2024.
Access will be maintained where possible although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
The Order will have a maximum duration of 6 months.
